About
My passion for photography was sparked by my father, an avid photographer who maintained a wet darkroom in our basement. My journey began with a Brownie camera, a gift from my parents, which I used to capture the world around me.
In college, my studies in art history deepened my appreciation for color, composition, and the significance of exploring daily life through art. This academic background profoundly shaped my artistic vision.
After college, I embarked on a career in philanthropy, which further enriched my understanding of the arts and the diverse experiences of people from all walks of life. Upon retiring, I rekindled my love for photography, channeling my experiences and insights from philanthropy into my work.
Today, I work digitally, delving into the mysteries of the world around me. My projects are a reflection of my desire to express my perceptions and emotions, informed by my lifelong engagement with social issues and the arts.
